Executive Chairman FAIRCHILD GROUP

Elder UK Eke, MFR, Chartered Accountant, Management Consultant and entrepreneur is the immediate past Group Managing Director, FBN Holdings Plc, a position he occupied between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2021.

He is currently the Executive Chairman of Fairchild Group comprising Fairchild Capital Limited, Fairchild Properties Limited, Fairchild Laboratories Limited, Fairchild Ventures Limited and Hudiya + Esther (Consultants). In addition, he is the Chairman, Board of Directors, NSIA-LUTH Cancer Centre Lagos.

He joined the Board of FirstBank, an FBN Holdings Company, in 2011 as Executive Director, Public Sector South and until his appointment as GMD of FBN Holdings was Executive Director, South. His sound managerial and motivational skills, coupled with his vast experience, helped develop FirstBank’s businesses within the Public Sector, Retail and Private Banking Groups as well as on the Board. In 2017 he was appointed to the board of Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority.

Before his appointment to the Board of FirstBank he was Executive Director, Regional Businesses, Lagos & West, Diamond Bank Plc. His other work experience spans Deloitte Haskins & Sells International where he rose to Audit Senior. At Diamond Bank Plc, he was Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Divisional Head before he became Executive Director. He has over 36 years’ experience in financial services, auditing, consulting, taxation, process engineering and capital market operations.

UK, Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Bankers, Fellow The Institute of Management Consultants, Fellow of the Institute of Directors, and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, holds a first degree in Political Science (University of Lagos) and an MBA in Project Management Technology (Federal University of Technology, Owerri). He is a Non-Executive Director of First Bank of Nigeria Limited and FBNQuest Merchant Bank Limited.

A philanthropist and mentor to many, he is the Founder and Chairman, Elder K.U. Eke Memorial Foundation. He is a member of Rotary Club of Lagos, Metropolitan Club Lagos, a Patron of Lagos State Council, Boys’ Brigade Nigeria. He is also a ruling Elder of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Lekki Parish. UK is the Chairman Advisory Board, Lifeforte International High School, Ibadan as well as a Major Donor of The Rotary Club International. He is a recipient of Nigeria’s National Honour of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR). His hobbies include adventure, reading and soccer. UK is happily married with children.

Chidi Anya

2ND President of LeAP

Chidi has over 30 years’ post-call experience within the Nigerian legal system and has for many years been recognized by his clients and peers as a leading commercial and corporate law specialist with high-level skills and experience in negotiation, administration, communication, management, advocacy and ethical leadership. In his advisory work, Chidi combines an analytical approach with pragmatism and commercial acumen. Chidi regularly appears for major institutions as well as individuals and his persuasiveness, clarity and forensic skills in court have received wide acclaim. Chidi also acts in, and undertakes, mediations, arbitration’s and other forms of dispute resolution. He serves as a Company Secretary for diverse leading indigenous companies and conglomerates in various strategic sectors of the Nigerian economy, providing guidance on corporate governance and compliance. Chidi is a Notary Public, a Certified Management Consultant and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC). He has attended various executive management courses at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Illinois. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and its Section on Business Law and the Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch’s Ethics, Compliance and Dispute Resolution Committee.

3RD PRESIDENT OF LeAP

He introduced the Personal Improvement Lecture Series (PILS) which has attracted over 100 A-List speakers to LeAP. PILS has helped to provide professional knowledge development for LeAP members.
Mr Oze Kalu Oze have continued to support LeAP Activities and at a time single handedly paid the LeAP teachers’salaries.

Dr Uganze Eke

Dr Uganze Eke is an internationally certified clinical consultant Pharmacist with over 25 years work experience in both corporate and private sector.
Dr. Eke is a graduate of Pharmacy from The University of Lagos and Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at The University of Benin, Edo State 2005. She is a Fellow: The West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists and certified member The American Foreign Pharmacists’ USA amongst other business certifications.
Dr Eke’s passion for preventive health led to the birthing of her umbrella Company, Fitness Fair and subsequently Chooselife Limited.
Her major strength is connecting individuals across corporate and individual strata, from executives to field staff, giving practical interventions and information needed to take action for efficient performance.
Her Corporate Wellness, Fitness, Health and Nutrition consultancy services have served leading companies like ExxonMobil in their ongoing global Culture of Health program, First Bank Insurance, Unikem Industries, Nepal Oil and Gas, Corona Schools, First Bank Pensions amongst others.
Fitness Fair as currently a leading provider of corporate wellness solutions to organizations and its workforce while her online Wellness Platform, Chooselife is positioned to continue providing sustained remote health management solutions to all her clients.
Dr. Eke is the initiator of the DOING & GIVING GOAL initiative LeAP. This program has created the structure for participation of all members in various committees fostering active member engagements as well as promoting financial commitments to achieving LeAP goals.

Elder Uche Okonkwo

Elder Okonkwo is the pioneer vice president of LeAP and Special Project Coordinator. He has great passion for youth and community development and for many years committed his time and resources to ensure the success of the LeAP education and Economic Empowerment projects. He continues to be a great pillar of support to LeAP.
