LeAP-ETC Interventions

Where We Are

1. AUXILIARY TEACHERS

LeAP through the LeAP-ETC intervened to recruit and pay auxiliary teachers in various key subjects and made the required payments for the return of Abiriba schools as WAEC centers

LeAP currently have 10 auxiliary teachers called the LeAP-ETC teachers

The LeAP-ETC teachers cover the 3 government-owned secondary schools in Abiriba viz
Onarubi Secondary Technical
Enuda High School
Egwuena Girls Secondary School

During the last ten years LeAP has spent about 30million Naira in paying the teachers

2. Youth Seminar/ETC-Awards

Organized 11 youth seminars and 10 ETC –Awards

Awards were given to outstanding students/schools/teachers

Textbooks on all subjects were donated to students/schools

LeAP has spent about 10Million Naira in organizing the youth programme at Abiriba in the last 10years

Where We Are

We have been able to facilitate oversea university scholarships for 5 indigenes of the community to pursue Master degree programmes in the United State of America.

They have all graduated with good grades
